Chinese teachers had a taste of British education at Burnt Mill Co-operative Academy over the summer.
The six trainee teachers from Suzhou, in Jiangsu, spent three weeks at the school, in Harlow, Essex experiencing every aspect of life there.
They spent time with each faculty and completed training sessions before teaching for three days.
Pat Walker, assistant headteacher, said: “This is a programme we get involved with every year. It gives our children the opportunity to experience another culture and to learn about the Chinese way of life. It also supports our mission of going from outstanding to world class in that it promotes a different area of the world our children might not normally experience.”
