The ranking is based on the high percentage of Level 5s achieved by the school in the end of Key Stage 2 SATs for the past three years. West Hill is part of The SMILE Learning Trust formed in November 2013. The school’s achievements in all areas of the curriculum certainly demonstrate high expectations and aspirations across the board, including putting those all-important co-operative values at the heart of the curriculum. It’s great to see a co-operative trust school high up in the League Tables, demonstrating unequivocally the rigour and drive of co-operative trust schools in all aspects of school improvement. There is no question that our co-operative schools are up there with the very best.
