Julie Thorpe to speak at the Independent Labour conference

Julie Thorpe, School Programmes Manager at the Co-operative College, is speaking at the ILP’s ‘Unbalanced Britain’ conference, which will focus on ‘Education, Inequality and Labour’s Response’. It will take place at The Circle in Sheffield on Saturday 4 March, 11:00-16:00.

Julie’s topic of discussion will be ‘Co-operative Schools – Where Values Make A Difference’. The other speaker in the morning is writer and campaigner Melissa Benn on ‘Education Policy and Inequality in the UK’. The afternoon session will focus on the on what Labour’s educational policy should be to enable all our citizens to fulfill their potential and contribute to a good society.
