Company secretary training
(1 delegate: £200+VAT / 2 or more delegates: £150+VAT each / Book delegates on both courses and receive 20% discount)

The aim of this one day course is to develop your company secretary’s knowledge of how a co‑operative Trust functions, gain an understanding of the legal framework for a co‑operative Trust, and receive advice and guidance on how to manage a Trust. You’ll also receive sample policies and procedures for a trust and guidance on how to use these.

Membership and Forum development

This course aims to equip you with a range of tools and strategies to help you develop membership of your Trust. By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Explain how the co-operative values are put into practice within your school
  • Identify the reasons why members are important and what role they play in co‑operatives
  • Conduct an analysis of their stakeholder profile
  • Develop a strategy for membership recruitment and the establishment of a Forum
  • Establish record keeping and communication systems for membership

Co-operative Identity Mark (CIM) webinars — Training for staff (25% discount)

If your school has registered for the Co-operative Identity Mark (CIM) you will have been asked to nominate two members of staff – one to co-ordinate the self-assessment process and the one to visit other schools as a peer reviewer. These two members of staff are required to complete a short training course which will be delivered through webinars and online learning activities.
